Are those just brad nails you are using to pin things together?

This bike makes me think pinstripes! Just a thought.

I like the forward facing dropouts, does that mean we'll be seein' some fenders on this bike?
A nice set of Honjo's would be classy.

Those, Dave, are plain ole' finishing nails. Clipped points with the ends filed to a cone. This helps with the passage through tweeked parts. I did not use these to pin the frame as I wanted to try a build with out. For future pinning, I will use furniture brads. These are cut nails and not the wire based variety like those shown. The advantage is that they are slight and also wedge/cut into to holes via an octagon cross section. Something Jonny showed me. Not so much to clip and file and they stay put. Fenders? Its designed for them.. pratice tubes are costing me a penny for the moment. 'Carls' runs a sweet set of Honjos on his Rivendell. smooth variety. Honjos' are in the eventual plan.
